Salve(hail) Reader,
Quo modo vales(how are you?), How was 2010? Ex animo(sincerely) for me, last year(2010) was annus mirabilis(a remarkable year).
WELCOME to a fresh mission, another time to aim for distinction. We express our congratulations to you freshers on your Elevation and welcome our stalites for a better academic continuation. This is the welcome Edition of ANGLOVUTION. A projectANGOLA production.
Our theme and Word for you this academic duration is SMILES and VISION, and in here you will find a lot of contributions that will motivate you, including our yuletide write-up “highlights of year 2010 with the bonus of the Militants Aro Carnival pics” to make sure you did not miss out of the spectacular events that Happened. What is Vision? How can you describe a Smile?
Vision
“The collaboration of your vision with your action will get you to your destination”.
Vision according to Bishop Oyedepo’s definition is Contribution and not position, distribution and not possession. He says it is the discovery of what you want to do and not what you want to become or else it will be a delusion.
In the Execution of any vision, people become a compulsion, so the need for a symbiotic association. One way to achieve this easily is through smiles.
SMILES
It cost nothing, but creates much,
It enriches those who receive it without impoverishing those who give it,
It happens in a flash and the memory of it lasts forever,
None are so rich they can get along without it, and none are so poor but are richer for its benefits,
It creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in a business and is the countersign of friends,
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature’s best antidote for trouble,
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anyone until is given away.
And if you should meet someone too tired or sick or depressed to give you a smile, make sure you leave them one of yours, for no one needs a smile as much as those who have none left to give.
The person with a smile is always welcome, for it opens doors and hearts as if it was a key
Dale Carnegie In his book “how to win friends and influence people” wrote “facta no verba (actions speak louder than words) and a smile says “I like you, you make me happy. I’m glad to see you”
Anthony D’angelo says Smile! It is the key that fits the lock of everybody’s heart. No wonder one of Nigeria best selling afro-juju music is titled “feyin en” with a line.....put a smile on your face, no matter condition feyin en, show me your 32 oo, feyin en” that album won an award.
The factorisation of (smile)(vision)=IMPACT.
Take Notice that: Smile takes a heart, Vision takes a head, Mission takes a hand, your destination takes a habit but God takes your Headache.
My novissima verba(final words):Smiling does well beyond imagination; while Vision with action does impact beyond imagination.
Oya ooo!, gangan!, arrectis auribus(on the alert), for alea iacta est(the die is cast), Are you ready.....?
Take One!...... Take a SMILE!........Take two!...... ACTION!
Wishing you a Fooseful and Laana-free session till we come your way next issue deo veolente (God willing). TAKE CONTROL
